Cellulean's key ingredient is aminophylline, a recognized medication to treat asthma. Aminophylline when used topically is believed to shrink fat cells by causing them to release lipid fat particles. Other powerful ingredients in Cellulean are caffeine, forskolin, yohimbe, Vitamin A and E.
Despite the belief that aminophylline treats cellulite there has been no objective research to prove this. Yohimbe is also a controversial ingredient being investigated by the FDA due to accounts of serious side effects.

Although there is a great buzz on Cellulean we are not pleased with the controversial ingredients in this product. The FDA has placed a warning on products containing yohimbe and so we do not recommend products containing yohimbe. Also, there is no proof that aminophylline treats cellulite.
Much of the research conducted on aminophylline is not objective and is tested by companies promoting products with aminophylline. Overall, we feel there are other cellulite creams that work just as well as Cellulean who use safe and natural ingredients.
